The Kennedy Martin Stelle Farmstead is a nationally registered historic site in Basking Ridge, NJ, that showcases 250 years of agricultural life and American history through its preserved 18th-century buildings. Named for three prominent families who owned the property, the farmstead was home to Revolutionary War hero Col. Ephraim Martin, Presbyterian minister Rev. Samuel Kennedy who ran a preparatory school for Princeton, and the Stelle family who farmed the land for 150 years. Today, the beautifully restored farmstead operates as Farmstead Arts, a thriving center for fine and performing arts featuring artist studios, galleries, classes, and exhibitions.
